Description
This app disables gestures so you can use your Right Mouse Button (RMB) to orbit the viewport without holding SHIFT key.
This app is for you if
- you're not a big fan of gestures (like me) or
- you don't have middle mouse button or
- you don't like to press and hold it.
Your RMB will work as normal.

A propos de cette version
Version 2.0, 17/10/2024
Fix hung up on rapid RMB clicks
Better RMB response
Pure python implementation, no SWIG binaries
This should be Fusion's default behavior.
Thanks!
Hello,
I love your work on windows! So i use mac OS now. Is it possible to practice Nogesture with Mac Os?
Thank you very much
I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately, this is a very OS-specific add-on, and I've never worked on macOS. Also, I don't have access to one.
Works perfectly for someone coming from SolidWorks
Forcing a second hand to the keyboard for Shift+Mouse3 just to control the camera is nuts... I do have a space mouse, but there are times that I just want to lazily use the right mouse button to orbit the camera.
This plugin is great, and enables the exact function you need, but with two caveats:
1. Every time Fusion pushes an update, this plugin seems to break, and Fusion is pushing minor patches frequently. I am not sure if there is an issue with my install of Fusion or the add-in, but as of v.2.0.20460 NoGestureNoShift is no longer functional for me.
2. The add-in sometimes experiences a brief but serious performance loss which typically results in it crashing. This seems to be related to moving the mouse while right clicking, or trying to do actions very quickly. When this happens I am able to terminate it and run it again from the add-ins button Utilities ribbon.
---
I consider this add-in essential. As of right now, the only issues are related to stability.
Thx Ryan for the feedback. 1. Just updated to 2.0.20460 and it's working fine :) Make sure you have latest v1.8. 2. I'll investigate the problem.
The same problem.
Check out latest v2.0 of the add-in.

I found this as soon as I started using Fusion (or short after), been using this for years - thank you for such a great plugin!
Never have had an issue with this working properly.
With the "Tinkercad" button/hotkey preference and this plugin, you get the same pan and rotation controls as default Cura, which is essential for a seamless workflow between the two.
Great add-in, makes for my preferred rotation / pan setup with the Tinkercad option chosen. Thank you.
Everything its fine but when you select a group and try to move it (Shift + Right click), it flips the group or do another stuff depending on what screen you are (Schematic, 2d PCB or 3d PCB).
I really did not want to spend 150€ on a Spacemouse. Together with Logitech Options to put the middle mouse button somewhere other than the mouse wheel, this makes the pan&rotate work just like expected, without the need to press shift - wait - press scrollwheel - accidentaly scroll - scroll back - try again until it works...
Thank you so much for this app. The default shifty orbit is really weird and RMB gestures can be nightmare for anyone using multiple 3D SW.
This makes Fusion mouse actions the same as all my other 3D tools. Thank you so much!
Pleaaaaaaseeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Good job man. Thank you.
Glad I just found this. The ThinkerCad option disables the circular part of the context menu for whatever reason. This here keeps the same menu as normal so I prefer it. Thanks
I'm glad to hear that, I was about to remove this addon from the store :)
The add-in seems to work fine (loading, using and unloading). Interesting that you use Autohotkey.
I just found that the Tinkercad mouse setting basically does the same though (maybe this setting is quite new?). https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/fusion-360-zoom-pan-orbit-preferences/
It puts gestures on shift+RMB.
You are actually right. The Tinkercad mouse setting must showed up after NoGesturesNoShift.
Hated that old menu, so many times a chose an option by mistake!
Amazing, Thanks!
this is such a major and simple to use add on - terrific. It should be a standard feature
this is a great addon. Thank you.
That's what I was looking for. Great Job!
Great add-on
I mean, who uses gestures anyway!?
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this.
Man, I don't use the gestures and pressing shift was always such a pain. I looked through the settings and couldn't believe this wasn't an option. I just kind of accepted it as an annoyance with Fusion.
Then today I stumbled on your add-in and I love it! Does exactly what it says. Install it and you can click-drag with the right mouse button to orbit. But you can still right click objects in the window and get the full context menu functionality.
Thanks so much for this.
