Autodesk® Fusion 360™ model can be exported to a 3MF file, which is dedicated format for 3D printing. The file output file size is much less compared with other 3D printing formats.

Initial Release.
The plugin works fine and the result can be edited in other apps. However, you need to rescale the object as well as the alignment which is not dramatic. There's just one strange issue I've noticed: every time you opt to export a Fusion 360 file, you need to restart Fusion 360 because the icon disappears from the menu.
- The models are low poly.
- Cannot be configured.
- The models export at 10% scale.
The models are low poly and cannot be configured.
The models export at 10% scale.
Exactly what I've been searching for :-)
Unfortunately, the exported file is of very poor quality and, as already mentioned by others, it is only exported in 1:10 scale.
The scale is still okay - you can improve it by hand - but the output quality should be improved.
Only allows the export of the entire model, imagine how useful that is when your model contains thousands of components and you just want to print one of them.
It works but the output is 1/10 scale as previously stated. The part also has to be manually centered on the build plate using Cura slicer. I think I'll stick to STL for now.
I am seeing similar issues to others. The models are scaled down very small and appear outside the build area.
Also in my case the components that made up the model were seperated.
Looking forward to updates as this is a much needed export utility.
Thank you for writing this plugin.
Thanks for making this. Reading the reviews below, I see I'm not the only one that noticed the exported file has a 1/10 scaling issue.
For anyone stuck with this, I made a small fix program that you can find on the link below. Just compile it in Visual Studio community edition, change the path to your .3mf file, run and you will have your file fixed.

Plugin seems to work just fine except that the scale is 1/10th of the actual size. So in Cura I have to scale it up 1000% to get it right. Units in Fusion are set to mm.
*Wrong size of export
*No name of output, should be model name and version
CAN confirm that the Models successfully export at a much-reduced file size compared to STL and being usable in Programs like PrusaSlicer and/or the Windows 10 3D Viewer / Print 3D Apps BUT they do so at 1:10 the intended scale - tested in all 3 Programs - and while it's not exactly a biggy to change that it IS another unnecessary step to get things done... I would greatly appreciate a V1.1 taking care of that "problem".
Good initiative. This is the future format if you want 3D printing. But, unfortunately, this is not very useful. The file you save change when you import to slicer is size off by a factor of x100?
It seems to work fine but when I export a file it is 1/10 the size of the actual design, so I always have to scale it. It would be nice if you could choose what units it exports as or have it match whatever the model is. I model in mm for 3D printing (as do most people).
This works great, even with complex models! But, colors are transformed not correct
The plugin works easy and as described. Did not run into any problems with the exported files so far
