The company NeoTwin develops and distributes a platform for asset and project management of real estate and infrastructure facilities. The method Building Information Modelling (BIM) plays a central role. The platform is primarily aimed at owners and investors, i.e. owners of a portfolio of building assets. These are on the one hand private and public owners of real estate, such as housing associations, as well as so-called corporate real estate companies from industry, trade and services. But also project development companies or general contractors are potential customers of the platform.
The platform's objective is integrated and transparent project and asset controlling over the entire lifecycle of a portfolio of buildings, incorporating software already established on the market and the content it contains. The respective end user thus receives a central management instrument and the inefficient and error-prone merging of various sources of information is eliminated. At the same time, it retains data sovereignty over his projects and assets.
One of the technological foundations of the platform is Autodesk's Common Data Environment (CDE) BIM 360. The NeoTwin platform initially complements BIM 360 by enabling the management of alphanumeric data in the form of so-called business objects (cost calculations, contracts, schedules, etc.). A special aspect here is that existing applications on the market or at the customer's site can be integrated with little effort via intelligent interfaces. Where necessary, the specialist applications of the platform complete these data, e.g. in contract management, to ensure integrated project and asset controlling.
At the same time, a relationship is to be established with the graphic data and documents managed on BIM 360. The inclusion of the building data not only makes visualization easier, but also makes the quantities and qualities so important for controlling available to the individual expert applications supporting the lifecycle processes for costs, deadlines, etc.. Ultimately, this results in hierarchically aggregable KPI systems that support the management of projects and assets. Powerful analysis functions on the topics of costs, performance, deadlines, finances, risks and profitability complete the product functionality.
