After installation inside Inventor, a ribbon is added. On the ribbon, there will be two buttons to send bill of materials to Business Central. Click on Send to BC to send single level of BOM and click on Send to BC all levels to send bills of materials of current assembly and all its sub-levels. To configure settings for integration click on Settings button on the ribbon. This will open the Settings dialog. The Business Central URL needs to be put, authentication details need to be entered and properties need to be mapped.

After installation inside Vault, open settings dialog by right-clicking on File in File explorer or Item in Item Explorer. There put the required settings for connecting to Business Central and choose Item or File mode and then choose property mapping. After that restart the Vault. After Vault is restarted based on Item or File mode, a right click menu will be added to items shortcut or files shortcut. From the right-click short cut menu click on Send to BC or Send to BC all levels to send single level or multi-levels of Bills of Materials to Business Central.
