ElectricalFinder is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® that lists and allows the user to show in the model different elements such as electrical circuits and electrical elements.

The plugin has 10 kinds of different types of searches, so the user can use them.

The plugin has the following types of options:

• Unconnected circuits:
  • Electrical circuits are power types without connection to a panelboard, so they have no circuit numbers.

• Electrical elements without host:
  • All elements in the following categories with no host:
    • Electrical Equipment.
    • Electrical Fixtures.
    • Lighting Fixtures.
    • Lighting Devices.
    • Fire Alarm devices.
    • Security devices.
    • Telephone devices.
    • Nurse call devices.
    • Data devices.
    • Comunication devices.

• Electrical Equipment with circuits:
  • Electrical Equipment with electrical circuits (Power Type) connected.

• Electrical Equipment:
  • All Electrical Equipment in the model.

• LF, LD, EF and EE unconnected:
  •  Lighting Fixtures, Lighting Devices, Electrical Fixtures, and Electrical Equipment with no connection to any circuit Power Type

• Electrical Circuits with one element:
  • Electrical circuits power type with one element.
  • Electrical Circuits with one element, 3 poles
  • Electrical circuits power type with one element and 3 poles.

• Conduit unconnected:
  • Conduits with both ends unconnected with a conduit fitting.

• Cable Trays unconnected:
  • Cable Trays with both ends unconnected to a cable tray fitting.

• Electrical Circuits with 0 kVA:
  • Electrical Circuits power type with 0 kVA of load.

• Electrical Circuits with overloaded Rating:
  • Electrical circuits power type with the Rating parameter overloaded against the Apparent Current.

According to the selected option, the plugin will list all the elements, if there is not an element it will show NOT FOUND.

The user has the option of selecting an element listed and the ID number will be shown and with the SHOW button, the user can find the element.
