Finch is a generative SaaS platform that serves as your copilot for better building design. It enables architects to get deeper faster, during the early stages of a project.

General Usage Instructions

  1. Install the Finch add-in on your computer
  2. In Autodesk® Revit®, click on the add-ins tab and then the Finch logo to open the panel
  3. Login using your Finch credentials
  4. Select a Finch Project and Variant
  5. Choose what action you wish to perform
    1. BIM - to download selected variants from Finch to Revit
    2. Massing - to upload a Revit building mass to a selected variant in Finch

 

(You need an account on finch3d.com to use the Finch add-in)

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
