1. Launch the Plugin

2. Open Revit.
3. Navigate to the Add-Ins tab in the Revit ribbon.
4. Click on Family Parameter Pro to launch the tool.

5. Open Families

   • Load the families you want to work on into your Revit project.
   • Alternatively, open the families directly in Revit.

6. Select Operation

   • Choose from the following actions in the plugin interface:
     • Create Parameters: Add new parameters or shared parameters to multiple families.
     • Add Shared Parameters: Import parameters from an existing shared parameter text file.
     • Modify Parameters: Edit or update parameters for one or more families.
     • Copy Parameters: Transfer parameters from one family to others.

7. Set Options

   • Customize settings for your selected operation, such as parameter types, values, or applicable categories.

8. Apply Changes

   • Review your selections and click Apply to execute the operation.
   • A progress bar or confirmation message will indicate when the process is complete.

9. Save Families

   • After completing your changes, save the modified families to your desired location.

10. Verify Results

    • Open the updated families in Revit to ensure the parameters have been correctly applied or modified.

Notes:

• Always back up your families before making bulk changes.
• The plugin is compatible with Revit 2022 and newer versions.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system
