ROUTi-AR Companion is an add-in for Autodesk® Revit® that processes your data for, exports to, and imports from the ROUTi-AR Android application.

General Usage Instructions

This product is a trial version. You can request and receive a serial number for the trial version by contacting the representative at SLZ Inc. via email, allowing you to use the software.

For use during the hook-up phase of plant construction, ROUTi-AR Companion exports your BIM data from Revit for use in the ROUTi-AR Android application. Using your Android tablet, design and modify pipe routes and layouts in AR space, then retrieve the data and import it instantly back into your BIM data in Revit.

How-To Use:

1. Select the desired server in Settings. (Currently, Asia-Seoul options are available)

2. Specify the download path for the completed APK and QR marker (PDF) of the newly created project in Settings.

3. Click on the License button to input the registered information (ID, Password, License Key).

4. Click on New Project to create a new project.

a.Input the project name in the Project Name field.

b.Input the model name corresponding to the Start Nozzle Name.

c.Input the model name corresponding to the End Nozzle Name.

d.Click the Create Model button to generate the QR model for positioning.

e.Drag the created QR model to the desired location for use as an AR overlay.

f.Click the complete button in the top left corner.

g.Click the Create button to generate the new project.

5. Click the Project list button to review the projects of the current user.

a.After processing is complete, click the Download button for the chosen project's APK and QR marker.

6. Click on the RUN ROUTi-AR button to view the output saved in the Application.

a.Click Run in the data corresponding to the saved SaveName to draw the pipe using the stored coordinates.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
