Export Shared Parameters
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
To Open the Export Shared Parameters App.
· Select the “Export Shared Parameter's” button within the “Export Shared Parameter's” Panel of the Add-Ins Ribbon Tab (image-1)
· This will open the “Export Shared Parameters” dialog (Image-2) and display all the shared parameters within the open project or family document.
Shared Parameters File.
· Use the “Browse” button to navigate to an existing Shared Parameter file or utilize the “Create” button to create a new Shared Parameters File (image-3 and image-4).
New Shared Parameters File.
· With a new shared parameters file first create a new group by selecting the “New Button”. This will open the “New Parameter Group” Dialog. Provide a name for the group and select OK image-5).
Filter.
· The filter can be utilized to easily filter/group shared parameters ready for selection and export (image-6)
· Utilizing the “Select All” radio button will select all those shared parameters that are visible, or simply check the individual shared parameters to export.
· Once a shared parameter is selected, the “Export” button is enabled.
· Select “Export” to export all the selected shared parameters (image-7).
· Shared parameters highlighted in violet already have a GUID that exist within the shared parameter file and therefore cannot be exported (image-8).
· Shared parameters file created from exported shared parameters (image-9).
Rename Parameter Group.
· To rename an existing parameter group select the group to be renamed and then select the “Rename” button and provide the new group name (image-10).
· Select the “OK” button (image-11).
· Shared parameters group renamed (image-12).
Open Existing Shared Parameters File.
· With an existing shared parameters file open select a group from the Group dropdown list.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
