Auto Dimension Panels - Trial Only

This add-in places dimensions automatically for different types of curtain wall panels and basic walls(Metric/Imperial). For a quick introduction, please visit the demo video https://youtu.be/5K3Qg43KXD8
The Auto-Dimension icon(yellow/orange icon) creates dimensions for the elements in the current Revit model.
- Click on the Auto-Dimension icon.
- Choose the linear and angular dimension types(please note the dimension created for the arc length of curve panels/walls will use the angular dimension type and its angular value will be overwritten by the length value).
- Typing in an integer(0~9) which will be the distance between dimensions and elements, in Demo video this integer is 4.
- Tick on the box if you want to show both the angle value and arc length value.
- Click on "Select", and select elements in the current view using box selection.
- The dimensions should be created in a few seconds. If there are invalid elements, the dialog box may pop up and list the element ID of invalid elements.
The Link-Dimension icon(blue icon) creates dimensions for the elements in the linked Revit model.
- Click on the Link-Dimension icon.
- Choose the linear and angular dimension types(please note the dimension created for the arc length of curve panels/walls will use the angular dimension type and its angular value will be overwritten by the length value).
- Typing in an integer(0~9) which will be the distance between dimensions and elements, in Demo video this integer is 4.
- Tick on the box if you want to show both the angle value and arc length value.
- Click on the "Pick linked model", and select the linked model in the current view.
- The dimensions should be created in a few seconds.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
Additional Information
Known Issues
- Dimensions cannot be placed on curved walls with doors/windows/openings, and will not include this wall in the invalid element list.
- Dimensions cannot be placed on some walls which have been modified profile.
- In some cases, some of the invalid elements are missing in the pop-up dialog box list.
- If the "Error - cannot be ignored" message pops up while processing, click "Cancel" not "Delete dimension(s)". The dimensions can still be created in this case.
