Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
If you want to use Google Maps import
+ Get the Google KEY
- access Google Maps Platform (https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard) with your Google account
- access Google API Dashboard
- active your free credit
- you must set up your billing
- Click on API Library
- choose Maps
- Enable the APIs: Geolocation API, Geocoding API, Elevation API and Javascript API
- return to Dashboard and click on Credentials
- Click on Create Credentials
- choose the API key
- Click on the copy button
+ Create Surface with Ge Terrain
- Launch Revit and choose Ge Terrain in the OneRay RT menu
- Click on the Configure Google Key button
- Paste the Google Key you previously obtained
- In the window that appears Google menu and choose to Google Acquire Terrain to start the interested area selection procedure
- Here, on the top right, you can insert the location you want, or select it directly on the map. On the top left, you can insert the number of samples and click on the import surface.
- Click on create terrain to complete the procedure and thus create a topographic surface in Revit.
If you want to use Bing import
- In the window that appears Bing menu and choose to Google Acquire Terrain to start the interested area selection procedure
- Here, on the top right, you can insert the location you want, or select it directly on the map. On the top left, you can insert the number of samples and click on import surface.
- Click on create terrain to complete the procedure and thus create a topographic surface in Revit.
+ Create Surface profiles
- Draw a Line or SpiLine under the Surface
- Launch Ge Terrain
- If you want to change options click on the Settings button
- Click on the Create Profile button, select a line entity previously drawn and click on a plotting point outside the Surface
Commands
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11 only x64) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
