The first time you use any of the Plugin buttons, the system will prompt you to log in with your email and password.
If you don't have a valid email and password, you can click the "Sign up" link, which will redirect you to the ApliCAD UpdateBIM website to complete the registration.
You must provide a valid email and password. If the email is already registered, you can request a password reset, and the system will send you an email to generate a new one.

Installation/Uninstallation
ApliCAD UpdateBIM is developed by ApliCAD (APLICACIONES DE CAD CAM Y GIS), and the latest version of the Plugin can be downloaded for free at Download Last Release
To install the Plugin, administrator permissions are required.
The Plugin is installed in the "C:\Program Files\ApliCAD\ApliCAD UpdateBIM" directory, automatically creating folders for each version of Autodesk Revit you have installed.
If you install a new version of Autodesk Revit after ApliCAD UpdateBIM has already been installed, you will need to repair the current installation to ensure the system works correctly with the new Revit version.
To uninstall the Plugin, go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall it as you would any other application on your system.
Additional Information
Any Autodesk Revit user can utilize the Plugin, as there is a free version that allows downloading families from public catalogs. Additionally, the Project Analysis tool can always be used to verify the information included in the project.
Construction material manufacturers can make their BIM models available to any Revit user and, in turn, obtain usage statistics and information about potential clients who interact with their products.
Construction companies and consultants require their collaborators to use standardized objects that they publish privately.
Likewise, companies that wish to distribute their content broadly to any Revit user can do so, while maintaining greater control over who uses their objects and ensuring that the elements are always up to date.
