Beschreibung
M.L.T.E. (pronounced "multi") is program extension that is used inside Autodesk® Revit®. It is a multiline text editor that can be used for editing the parameters of anything inside Revit but in a multi-line view instead of the single line that Revit's Properties Palette gives you.
In addition to editing the values of parameters, M.L.T.E. can also edit the formulas when used inside the Revit Family Editor. It even has syntax highlighting and auto-formatting to make complexly nested if statements easier to follow and debug. Also, works in conjunction with Knock Knock app saved data to provide even faster editing.
Note: Does not provide access to text formatting like bold, underline, lists, etc.

Version 2021.1.1.0, 23.05.2020
Recompiled to work under Revit 2021. Final version. There will be no more updates after this.
but is there a hotkey I can set it too?
Yes in the keyboard settings dialog search for M.L.T.E., the periods in between the letters are necessary.
This has saved us a lot of hassle when adding construction notes to sheets. One small issue is that it seems to default to Capitals, I have to check and uncheck the 'Upper Case Only' box before pasting text in for lower case. It would be five stars if it would support bold/colour/underline text - even just a red text option would be useful for us.
The tool is extremely helpful with schedule text or note block editing. In default Revit it is difficult to give spaces or go to the next paragraph, but this little application makes things easier. Thanks to the developers. The support is excellent and responded very quickly to my questions. Looking forward to see more from PKH Lineworks.
How did you use this with schedule text?
Your question is a bit confusing. Do you actually have this app and have difficulty editing the schedule text? If yes, then double click on the schedule you created. Click on the row you want to edit your text and click on the M,L.T.E add-on. The pop-up (like the one in screenshot above) will appear and ...... edit what you want. It is very simple yet cool.
You say you got it to work in note block editing to help with spaces and tabs, but I can only seem to get it to edit the parameters of the text block, not the actual contents of the text block.
@Tony Clark, I haven't had a chance to work on it yet on 2015 due to licensing errors, but if you are working on actual Schedule/Note block and not just the text note, yes, it will work. Are you confused between Note Block and Text Note? I don't know what a Text Block is. I tried to google for 'TEXT BLOCK REVIT' nothing showed up. Looks like a hybrid between Note Block and Text Note. Please clarify.
Great little tool.
