With Robot-AdvanceSteel Link, you can export a Robot structural model using the smlx format. You can then import the smlx file in Advance Steel in order to detail steel connections and automatically generate fabrication documents. From Robot, you can export values of internal forces with the model to the smlx file. After importing the file to Advance Steel, you can use these values to perform code checking of connections. 

Conversely, you can export a model from Advance Steel in order to perform structural analysis and code checking in Robot.

You can also track changes in the same model in both applications using the synchronization feature. 

Robot-AdvanceSteel Link 2025 will work only with Robot 2025.

NOTE: This product requires Robot Structural Analysis 2025 software to be installed on your system. 

From the website, download zip file and unpack it to a selected folder. 

Run included executable file.

After the installation is complete, you may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the add-in.

To uninstall the application:

1. Exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it.
2. Uninstall it from Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features (Windows 10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
