  • Better than the In-built Inventor 3D PDF tool
    Phil Tschirn | March 30, 2017

I bought this 3D PDF plug-in for Inventor 2 years ago and have loved it ever since. When Inventor came with its own converter built in I considered switching over to that. I convert large models for viewing by my clients. The In-built Inventor converter takes much longer...even with the most simplified settings. The 3DPDF Exprtor plug in is way more refined and handles large models with ease. It is easy to use, intuitive and makes smaller output files with great quality. Plus the makers if the program give it exceptional support

  • Incompatibile (still) with Foxit and unable to open with Reader.
Norbert Maslak | January 18, 2016 Verified Download (What's this?)

Hey, despite the fact that Foxi does not read the 3dpdf file, adobe reader also have problem with it. Message "3D data processing failure" occured. :C

    ProtoTech Solutions (Publisher) | January 19, 2016

Foxit reader doesn't support 3D content so it is not possible to open 3D PDF on Foxit. Adobe reader is free and supports 3D content so you can use this to open 3D PDF file. If you are facing problem to open file in Adobe Reader, it will be appreciated if you can share exported PDF file with us( 3DPDFForAI@ProtoTechSolutions.com) so that we can investigate the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience.

1, how can i mix the 3D model with text together in the PDF page? 2 can i control the box (window) size, samller or bigger. 3 does it possible convert . ipt to *.u3d or *.prc?

    ProtoTech Solutions (Publisher) | January 05, 2015

    1. Currently we are only supporting 3D objects. 2. The window size is set to a default value. We may consider providing an option in future. 3. We convert to .prc Hope this helps. Please feel free to write to 3DPDFForAI@ProtoTechSolutions.com if you have any further questions.
