The application is installed and accessed within Inventor via the r-CAD tab in the Assembly Type document.

The user has the possibility to change several fields:

• IFC project name;
• Location;
• TAG;

In addition to customizing the Defaut and Custom properties of all documents, it is possible to rename each occurrence contained in the assembly, either by changing the name or defining its IFC type, just browse the tabs in the application form.

In this version, we have the possibility to create a database for reading custom fields, rotate the main assembly through its assembly axis, or even define its point of origin, for that, just access the "Options" tab located in the form UI icon.

When clicking Generate IFC file, the process will start reading all active models and finally create a file with the extension ".ifc"

Obs.: Are removed from the destination IFC file, files in the assembly with properties:

• Suppressed;
• Invisible;
• Reference;

After converting the current assembly, the user must have an IFC file viewer to open the generated file.

The installer you ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store installs the app/plugin. OR, just double click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart your Autodesk product to activate the application/plugin. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply restart the installer and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application on your system.
