The ReplaceCopy command appears in an additional panel in the Assemble Ribbon and is available in the Assembly environment.

• When you run the ReplaceCopy command in the Assemble panel, a dialog will appear.

• This dialog provides you with the button for selecting the part.

• After selecting the part/instance, it displays the old name of the file selected, and a field is available for entering the new name of a file.

• You also have an option to Copy the Drawing if a drawing with the same name exists.

• “Apply” will rename the file and if the option is marked, a copy of the drawing with the new name will be created.

• The new name will be applied in the browser and also a copy will be created in the assembly retaining the original in the project.

• "Cancel" will close the dialog.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the "Loaded/Unloaded" check box associated with the plugin in the Autodesk® Inventor® Add-In Manager. You may have to restart Inventor to completely unload the application.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
