This seems to be exactly what I want/need as I render and animate for a living, but most of my clients provide me with CAD files. I tried the trial and just got freezing. Zero successful exports. Will try a few more times. Would love to have this tool do what is says it can. Would really help me and I'd gladly pay for it if so.
Does what it says. I use it to get CAD models into Cinema 4D for animation and rendering. I like that you have some control over reducing geometry when exporting and that it retains materials and components. I did find that it crashed and couldn't handle large complex assemblies as well as SimLab's exporters but offers a bit more control.
