SimScale
Descrizione
SimScale is an engineering simulation platform completely accessible in a standard web browser. Combining the power of cloud computing and cutting-edge simulation technology, it constitutes an ecosystem, where simulation functionality, content, and people are brought together in one place.
SimScale offers a complete simulation pipeline - meshing the geometry, determining the solutions for the respective analysis type, and visualizing the results. As such, the first step constitutes providing a CAD model to be meshed, and this is the point where this add-in comes into play.
Create your model on Autodesk Fusion® and with a few clicks push your geometry to an existing project on SimScale without having to leave the application or do cumbersome format conversions when saving the models you want to use in your simulations.
When you are ready to simulate, simply visit www.simscale.com/dashboard, where your CAD models will be waiting for you.
Tested with Fusion - 2.0.18441, 2.0.18460.
There are no instructions here, and the add-on down show up in fusion, its how ever listed under addons, and yes I did downloaded the right OS version
Hi Andreas! We apologise - you are correct - the Add-In did not show up in Autodesk Fusion. We just released a new update of the Add-In, it works now. We tested with Autodesk Fusion version 2.0.18441, we expect that it works also on newer versions. Let us know if it works for you now. Best, SimScale Team
Hello, can you explain how to install this addins for fusion 360, when i double click the pkg no application is knowed by windows
You have to select Win64 as OS before installing if you are on Windows. Seems like you downloaded the Mac version.
Does what it's supposed to do.
I like the simscale system. Waiting windows support thanks
If you want to perform a simulation on your model, which exceeds your hardware capacity or you want to run multiple simulations at the same time, then this plugin is for you. SimScale offers a cloud-based simulation platform for engineering simulation. All simulations are run by SimScale and accessible via a web browser. Currently supported are the following simulation types: Structural Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Particle Analysis and Acoustics. The simulations are solved via open source solvers. The use of SimScale is free as long as your CAD models and the simulations performed are made public in their simulation library. SimScale also hosts a blog and forum related to simulation, where you will find help from other users in case you encounter any simulation related problems. Basic concepts of simulations should be understood however, before using SimScale. 4 stars only, since you need to invest some time to get the hang of how to properly and efficiently work ith SimScale.
