Mac OS, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
After downloading and successfully installing the SimScale add-in into Fusion, you will be able to upload the current CAD model to any of your projects on SimScale. To do this, you will have to:
- Switch to the “UTILITIES” tab inside Fusion.
- Either click on the SimScale add-in icon in the “UTILITIES” tab or “Upload to SimScale” in the add-in menu.
- If you haven't set up your SimScale API key yet, you will be asked to do so. There is a link in the pop-up window that will take you to the page where you can get the SimScale API key (and create an account at SimScale if you don't have one already).
- After setting your SimScale API key you will be prompted to choose the project on SimScale to which you would like to upload the CAD model.
- Having selected the project, click on “Upload to project”. Depending on the geometry’s complexity, the upload may take a few minutes.
