QUICKSTART

1. Create a section analysis plane parallel to the XZ plane 25 mm or 1 inch from the origin.
2. Start the Font Channelier Hobby command: TOOLS -> CHANNELIER-> Font Channelier Hobby
3. The Font Channelier Hobby dialog with 8 tabs will open. Adjust dialog width if necessary to see all tab titles.
4. Turn on the preview. You should see the letter ‘A’ cut by the section analysis plane at the lower part of the body. Change the view to the axis Z pointing up if necessary.
5. Try to change any of the parameters on the tabs and observe changes in the model.
6. Hit the OK button if you are satisfied with the settings. A letter is created. Front faces are separate bodies and can be hidden to perform further modification on the channel hull. 

Install:
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

Uninstall:
You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.
Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion 360.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.
Or, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 8.1/10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

The majority of the fonts are rendered without problems. Anyhow there are some fonts which shape geometry description is made of multiple overlapping parts. These characters are not modeled correctly. Know issues are in the 'Bahnschrift' font family and some greek symbols. 

Curvy fonts, multiple letters take a long time to create.
