With Lumion LiveSync for FormIt Pro, you can set up a simultaneous, real-time connection between your 3D model in FormIt Pro and Lumion. The LiveSync plugin is free, and installation and usage are refreshingly simple. 

Simply download and install the LiveSync plugin from the Autodesk App Store (instructions below), and go to the Plugin Manager Panel. Enable the Lumion LiveSync plugin to load the app. Open a project in Lumion and make sure you are in a 3D view in FormIt Pro.    

Click on the Play button to start the live, real-time synchronization. Now, you can change the model’s shape in FormIt Pro to test a modified design, and you’ll instantly see the model updated in Lumion with accurate lighting and shadow, surrounding contexts such as urban neighborhoods or rural settings, and beautiful, realistic materials.  

Lumion LiveSync for FormIt Pro also includes:

• Real-time model synchronization between FormIt Pro and Lumion
• Camera synchronization between FormIt Pro and Lumion
• The ability to add and save Lumion’s beautiful materials to your LiveSync project
• Real-time materials synchronization and visualization
• Automatic model importing into Lumion (no need to separately import a model)
• Collada (*.dae) files exporter

The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Lumion LiveSync for FormIt Pro will only work with FormIt pro 2022.1.0 and Lumion 12.0 or newer (older versions of Lumion will work, but are not officially supported). If your software meets the compatibility requirements, then the free LiveSync plugin is easy to install. 

To download the LiveSync installer, go to the LiveSync for the FormIt Pro page on the Autodesk App Store. Click the download button to get the installer and run it.

You will need to load the FormIt LiveSync plugin in the Plugin Manager in your Autodesk FormIt Pro program to activate the LiveSync app/plug-in.
