1. Run the app and select point descriptions: QuickConnections will automatically search for COGO points in the drawing and will list their unique descriptions. In this list, the user must select the descriptions for which the 3D polyline connections will be created.
   
   
2. Indicate if the 3D polylines will be created connecting all the points in the drawing, or just the points that will be selected. The QuickConnections app facilitates the selection of these points by allowing the user to temporarily hide the points that will not be used in the creation of the 3D polylines.
   
   
3. Click the OK button and create the 3Dpolylines: QuickConnections will create a 3Dpolyline for each selected description, connecting the points based on their point number values (from smallest to largest) or if the user opts the linework can be connected by their distance to the nearest point. 

The QuickConnections app can be installed by running the QuickConnections.msi file and following the instructions in the wizard. This will install the program in the following location: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins.

The first time the application is launched, the user will be asked to validate the license. The program will provide a Request Code that the user has to send to support@vantecsolutions.com along with the purchase order. Within 24 hours we will send you back an Authorization Code that will let you run the program. In the meantime, the program can be run on trial mode.

To uninstall the program, execute the same QuickConnections.msi file and follow the instructions.
