Second release. Use Autodesk DWG Migration for Docs to maintain data integrity for C4C3D projects. Desktop Connector version 16.0.0.1902 or later is required. Not only does it support cleaning up integrity issues for selected data sets and migrating them to Docs, but it now also expands its capabilities to handle projects stored on both Docs and locally, ensuring comprehensive data integrity. Performs data integrity checks and fixes including re-pathing broken references and referenced files stored outside the migration set, notifying about long paths, circular references, unsupported files, and absolute paths. What's New: -Autodesk DWG Migration for Docs V2 has introduced two new tools to maintain data integrity for projects stored locally or on a LAN for future migration, as well as for projects on Autodesk Docs. It allows you to check and fix the issues below - --Missing References: There are broken links in the host drawings stored locally. After migration, missing references in a cloud project can lead to data inconsistencies, functionality issues, dependency problems, and maintenance difficulties, impacting system performance, and overall project effectiveness. --Related Data: When the referenced files are not located in the same folder that is being migrated (or inside one of its subfolders), they will not be uploaded together with the host file. They then might result in broken links. --Circular References: This will result in an unhealthy project where various collaboration issues could take place. --Absolute paths: When files are shared among multiple users or across different systems, these absolute paths may not resolve correctly on every system, leading to broken links and errors. -Enhance your efficiency by using filters for reference types or status, enabling you to resolve multiple issues at once. |
