Follow these steps to connect your Building Virtuality project with your Autodesk® BIM 360® or Autodesk Construction Cloud® Cloud project: 

1. Ensure your company settings are set to allow integration with Autodesk

Ensure your role has the View Company and Edit Company permissions. If you do not have these permissions, please ask your manager to enable the Autodesk integrations for you.

Go to your company settings by clicking your profile image in the top right and selecting “My Company”. Ensure the “Integrate with Autodesk” setting is set to Yes or Yes and prompt users to connect to Autodesk on their dashboard. In the case of the second setting, users who have not yet connected their account with their Autodesk account will see a notification on the dashboard asking them to connect. This connection is required to sync their markups to Autodesk BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud issues. 

2. Ensure your Building Virtuality account is connected with your Autodesk account

Go to your profile settings by clicking on your profile image in the top right and selecting My Account. Navigate to the Settings tab and click the “Connect Autodesk Account” button. Follow the on-screen instructions. 

3. Connect your Building Virtuality project with your Autodesk BIM 360 or ACC project

Create or edit your project. Go to the Autodesk tab in the project edit/create page. Paste the URL of your Autodesk project. We will automatically retrieve the relevant settings to connect your Building Virtuality project with your BIM 360 or ACC project. 

4. Set up your Autodesk settings in your Building Virtuality project

Edit your project in Building Virtuality. Go to the Autodesk tab. Update any relevant settings, such as markup or document settings, to define which data should be synchronized with your BIM 360 or ACC project.
