Align Text to Curve
Descrizione
The program enables the user to dynamically align a new or existing Text or MText object to a selected curve, with intuitive placement controls available at the command-line.
The program may be used to align an existing text object in the drawing, or the user may create a new text object by specifying the text content.
Multiple copies of a text object may be aligned to the selected curve if the 'Multiple Text Mode' is enabled in the Settings menu.
Text is dynamically aligned in real-time, with the text offset & rotation relative to the curve controllable by the user.
With the 'Readability' setting enabled, text is automatically rotated to preserve readability and will never appear upside-down.
When using the program to align an MText object, the MText Background Mask may be toggled on & off during text alignment.
The program is compatible for use with:
· Lines
· LWPolylines
· 2D (Heavy) Polylines
· 3D Polylines
· Arcs
· Circles
· Ellipses
· Elliptical Arcs
· Splines
Furthermore, these objects may be primary objects in the drawing, or nested (to any depth) within a block or xref.
The program will also perform successfully under all UCS & View settings and with Annotative Text Styles.

i learn a lot of thank from Lee Mack website and i recommend all user to this site lee-mac.com
It is nice and has some useful capabilities but does not curve text along arcs and splines.
Thank you for your feedback Hafid - it is not possible to curve a standard text object, however, you are welcome to use my Slinky Text program (http://lee-mac.com/slinkytext.html) if you require the text to curve around arcs & splines.
As always great work. Thanks. Best Regards, C. Alifantis
This is the way AutoCAD should work! All of Lee Mac's tools are great. This one runs on BricsCAD as well :o)
Thank you Donald - I'm delighted that you find my programs useful! That's great to hear that the application is also performing well in BricsCAD too!
