Description
Allows the user to modify values of multiple attributes across a set of drawings.
The program provides the user with the ability to:
• Modify multiple attribute values across selected drawings.
• Modify attributes in all blocks with block name matching a given wildcard pattern.
• Use Field Expressions in attribute values.
• Increment attribute values across each processed drawing.
• Select blocks from the active drawing to use with the program.
• Import / Export a list of attributes to be edited from a Text or CSV file.
• Select multiple drawings to be processed from multiple directories.

Amazing time saver, again!! Great work. My only problem is it crashes after 2 or 3 drawings with a FATAL EXCEPTION... not sure why. Anyone else have this problem? I have to restart Autocad over and over and do basically 3 at a time to update my title blocks. Apprecaite any help. Thanks!
I'm getting the same problem. I downloaded and installed the newest version but can only a few or sometime 1 at a time. Getting fatal error 0xffffffff various exceptions 8be3053h or 8b600537h (so far).
This app is straight forward and easy to use.
The main problem with this add-in is that your sheet files have to be in alphabetical for it to order the pages properly. This is a problem if you follow the National CAD Standard for sheet naming, as you won't have you're drawing set in alphabetical order. If you could add a button to move files up and down in the list to adjust the order, I'd recommend this add-in to everyone.
One other minor issue given the time savings this can provide: If you use it on an open drawing, it won't change the block attribute of that drawing. So if you are on page 1, you'll want to start the increment at page 2 for the following drawing and it will change the sheet numbers for all other sheets aside from page 1, the open file.

Great app indeed! One question: How do I use wildcards in the same tag?
For example, two floors are divided into 8 drawings each. And one row in the block is supposed to be: "Floor 1, part x". How do I exclude ", part x" and change only "Floor 1" to "Floor 2" in the 8 drawings for floor 2?
nice lisp. having the Ability to Change Visibility States in this lsp would be great. Such as having a dynamic block for drawing issues and being able to change visibility states automatically would be a great add on to this lisp.

Very good app! Just found it a few days ago, tried on my drawings. It worked but just worked on two drawings. After updated two drawings appear window with message: FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at dce8b33h. So I have to reload app and BATTE again and again. Is it possible to fix this problem? Not sure if something wrong on my side. I use AutoCAD 2015. Thanks in advance!
Actually, you can also download the AutoLISP file for this program (BAtteV1-4.lsp) from Lee Mac's website (http://lee-mac.com/batte.html). There are instructions on there on how to load AutoLISP files. It should work on most AutoCAD versions, including 2018.

Cannot change attribute when file is in use. Appear window with message: "All of selected files are currently in use and cannot be processed"
This is by design and is not an error: drawings that are already open (either in the active drawing session, or by another user) are read-only to the program and therefore cannot be modified. This is indicated by the program when you attempt to select an open drawing for processing.

Excellent app, thank you. As a future suggestion: can you control visibility states through this; where an attribute that was invisible becomes visible after running the app?

I took this for a spin this morning. Where have you been all my life? ;-) Editing title block attribute values has been a major source of drudgery throughout my career, and this tool just cut the time required by 90 percent. I will save hours on every project. This app is superb. If I may offer a suggestion, it would be very helpful to be able to see the attribute prompt in the interface. Most of our prompts are more descriptive than our tags. This is still a five-star tool, but that feature would put it over the top. Thanks for such a great free product.

I appreciate your suggestion, however, since the attribute data is primarily entered by the user and may be arbitrary, such data may reference blocks which are not present in the active drawing, hence, the app would not be aware of the prompt string for such attributes. The app helps me to save a lot of time to edit a large number of drawings. My job is no longer tedious. By the way, is it possible to use this app to update the page number tag in per drawing?
its not showing any changes in revision and tittle block still its in text please explain brifly
As I explained in my email response to you: this application is designed to modify attribute values, not the content of plain text or mtext.
It sounds like you don't understand what block attributes are. I don't think a one-star rating is fair. This app may not do what you want it to do, but it performs its stated function very well.
This is the best app I have used hands down. Hope it continues to be available when I upgrade to 2015.
