General Usage Instructions

Start the application by typing DDSetup in command prompt or select from the Autodesk® AutoCAD® Ribbon Plug-ins menu.

DDSetup is used to help the end user to start the drawing process by setting up a variety of environment variables.

It provides a number of options for the user to select from the palette such as:

1) The desired drawing unit (Imperial or Metric)

2) Typical drafting Scales (Architectural or Engineering)

3) Standard sheet sizes (ANSI, ARCH or ISO)

4) Sheet orientation (Landscape or Portrait) and

5) Location to start the drawing (Modelspace or Paperspace).

	DDSetup	DDSetup provides the end user with a graphic user interface to make the following settings: The Measuring Unit (Imperial or Metric), the Construction Discipline (Engineering or Architectural), typical Drawing Scales, typical Sheet Sizes with Orientation (Landscape or Portrait) and to draw the Sheet in Modelspace or Paperspace. DDSetup will change the corresponding AutoCAD system variables to match the settings selected.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
