This application contains 6 tools for families parameters as below:
Find and Replace Text in Parameters
This tool is designed to find and replace text or parts of a text in parameters - whether it’s a built-in parameter or a shared parameter.
This tool only works for instance parameters, the storage type of the parameters must be text.
Copy/ Combine (Text Parameters)
This tool is designed to copy text parameter data between Autodesk® Revit® elements. It also can combine text parameter information from more than one parameter and join it in another text parameter additionally, and it can add separators between the combined text parameter data. The tool can also copy text parameter data between different Revit categories.
Parameters Text Case
The tool is designed to modify the text case for the parameter's text value in Revit.
This function will enhance working with text in Revit and it will help the user to change the text case for the “Parameters text value” to be Upper case, Lower case, Sentence case, and Title Case.
Batch Apply Shared Parameters from a .txt file
The tool is designed to batch apply a shared parameter from the text file.
The tool will save a lot of time and enhance Revit file performance.
Bim Explorer
The tool is designed to select Revit elements by specific criteria like (type name, or data under specific parameter).
It will save a lot of time used in search elements.
Batch Apply Shared Parameters to batch of RVT file
The tool is designed to batch apply the shared parameter from .txt file to a batch of RVT files placed in folder or subfolders
The tool will save a lot of time and enhance Revit file performance.
NOTE: The tool will work for 30-days until activation.
Activation steps:
1. User has to send the license code which is displayed in the license dialog box when clicked on the app, along with payment receipt to "bim_s_s@yahoo.com"
2. Publisher will send the activation code to the user email within 24 hours.
3. Click on "activate" in the license dialog box, enter the code received and hit OK.
I've been using the Copy_Combine Param addin for several years and like it. Recently was notified my credit card could not be charged. Logged in, confirmed info was correct, even tried to add a differenct card, nothing is working. Has this addin been discontinued? If so, it's not clear.
I've emailed info@ and bim_s_s@ several times to resolve with no response. Hoping to get a repsonse here about how to reactive the addin.
I purchased this software subscription, but was unable to activate it. Additionally, reaching the company for assistance proved to be an impossible task. My numerous attempts to connect with them included multiple emails sent to the provided address during activation, as well as an additional email address listed on their website. I also tried reaching them through the contact page on the Bim Soft website, all to no avail. Regrettably, Bim Soft never responded. Ultimately, I found it necessary to block the charges through my credit card company. I urge you to spare yourself the hassle and frustration.
