Descrizione

This add-in for Autodesk® Revit® enables you to:

  • Read and extract material layer properties.
  • Tag elements to display material layers.
  • Schedule elements with detailed material layers.
  • Export material layers to Excel or CSV files.
  • Customize which material properties to extract (e.g., Name, Thickness, Thermal Conductivity).

The add-in thoroughly analyzes all layered structures within a Revit project, identifying material names and thicknesses. It can automatically write materials, thicknesses, and layer details into multiline Type parameters for six-layered categories: Ceilings, Floors, Site-Pads, Roofs, Structural Foundations, and Walls. The PRO version allows you to customize material information extraction, control the order of data, and adjust syntax settings.

These parameters can then be utilized to generate tags and schedules for your Revit project.

Key Features:

  • A tree structure view that lists all layered structure types, materials, and thicknesses.
  • Visual indicators for missing materials (<By Category>), core layers (underlined), and structural materials (bold blue text, or red if missing).
  • Customizable unit settings: Choose from millimeters, centimeters, decimeters, meters, decimal inches, or fractional feet/inches.
  • Set unit formats: Define the number of decimals, remove trailing zeros, and round fractional values to the nearest selected fraction.

This add-in offers a powerful and flexible toolset to streamline material layer management in your Revit projects.

We started using the layer manager a year ago in the office and are very pleased with the product. I streamlines the preparation of assembly schedules immensely and also ensures that your material library is in order.

The support is also phenomenal. Very responsive and very helpful.

    Highly recommend.
