Using this app, you can upgrade multiple Autodesk® Revit® Projects (*.rvt), Templates (*.rte) or Families (*.rfa) to the most current version. Excludes Workshared Projects.
In addition, it can duplicate folder structures, copy projects and families to new destinations, add prefix and suffix, and replace parts of names.
You also have the option to audit files during the upgrade process and delete backups from the destination folders.

Update for 2022
I have been able to upgrade RFA and RTE files with ease. It however will not recognize RVT files. Per the comment from the Publisher, it will not upgrade RVT files that are Workshared Projects. Unfortunately we only ever have Workshared Projects and can't think of occassions where you wouldn't want it to be. The project would have to be single discipline, single user, and not use Worksets for VG purposes.
Thank you for your feedback. If you had contacted me via my support email address I could have quickly resolved this issue for you. As you state it will not upgrade RVT files that are Workshared Projects, that is because this app clearly states within the Description “Excludes Workshared Projects”.
Hi all!
Seems that the add-in is not working in our case, although we did testing on some other files/models before and everything was in order. By selecting a folder where Revit 2019 models are stored for which we needed the upgrade, we receive a message saying: No Revit files to upgrade were found in the selected File.
To avoid confusion, these are 100% Revit 2019 where when opened in Revit 2020 we receive a regular upgrade dialog box.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback. If you could contact me via my support email address I will happily work with you to try and resolve any problems. In the meantime this message is generally shown under 3 circumstances 1) No Revit files within the selected folder 2) The Revit files were created in a later version of Revit than the one you currently have open 3) The Revit files are Workshared Projects
Friendly add-in, saves one loads of time and provides various options, eg. upgrade in current location, or create back-up files, etc. It's especially helpful to batch update custom families. It's a pity I haven't had this years ago.
