CS ArtisanRV landscape for Autodesk® Revit®- TRIAL
Digitally signed app
Descripción
CS ArtisanRV empowers landscape professionals to fully embrace Building Information Modelling - offering comprehensive features to collaborate in Revit workflows. CS ArtisanRV is available as a time-limited trial version or paid subscription.
Launched in 2015 as the FIRST web-integrated landscape BIM software for Revit, CS ArtisanRV enables detailed planting to be placed in models as individual specimens, hedges, avenues, beds, woodlands and as single species or mixes including overplanting and underplanting.
Planting Families - generated on the fly when selecting from user-defined palettes with model content created dynamically in 2D, 3D, section/elevation and schedule views. Planting is placed accurately in the model, hosted automatically to the topography, floor, region or area and sized according to the specification details. Planting can be Aged (Grown) to the species ultimate height/spread based on the defined number of years to maturity.
Planting Palettes - created and managed centrally via the integrated CS Web App service (available separately as CS Helios). Standard practice is for organisations to create project-specific palettes by selecting from the extensive planting libraries or adding new content via the Custom Plants utility. Mix Libraries enable users to create and manage planting associations by defining components and percentages and then add to Palettes the same way as individual plants.
Plant Browser - manage planting model content via intelligent edit + substitution tools and Plant Browser - dedicated panel showing all planting model content in a structured list view and associated graphical plan view.
Tagging - dynamic switching between standard, compact and type mark tags.
Graphics Visibility - switch between different visual representations of planting including Symbology, Primitives, Voxels and Realistic Photo-real Content (RPC).
Concept Planting - single plants (specimens or clumps), linear (hedges and avenues) or areas (woodlands and beds) providing quantifiable early phase content.
Existing Trees - created by Manual Placement or directly from Imported Survey Data collected on site based on BS5837: 2012 (Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction) © The British Standards Institution 2012.
Root Balls - create dynamically for existing and proposed trees to detect potential clashes with underground services or features. Being able to model tree roots at species' maturity informs Tree Pit design and users are able to specify Root Barriers to prevent the ingress of tree roots into underground services or features. The Tree Pit tool sizes, places and quantifies tree pits based on the required soil volume for root development, material build up, pit dimensions aligned to host Topography.
Terrain tools - efficient manipulation of topography in Revit. Define width and gradient of paths with the adjoining embankments cut or filled to a specified slope including cut and fill calculations. Place a Floor at the same time that the modified topography is created.
Topo to Floor - convert Toposurfaces and Split Topos to Revit Floors. Topo to Floor is typically used to convert an area of Topo to allow subsequent material take-off of profile build-up.
Parametric Fencing and Railing - projected onto the underlying topography, floor or wall and the real-world length is used to accurately construct the run using the correct placement of posts based on true dimensions.
Shadow Coverage - analyses the percentage shadow coverage of a targeted element (external walkway, sitting area, play area etc). It is often a stated information requirement for construction projects in hot climates (ESTIDAMA) to ensure that external spaces are designed in a way that will enable a minimum percentage of shadow coverage at defined times/dates.
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
