A. Palette UI (command: DF_FRP)

  A.1. Find/Replace panel

    A.1.1. TextBox for searching text: To search with Standard expression or wildcards. The Result texts show up in the result list and are marked in red.

    A.1.2. Button for selecting object: Can use objects with next, previous, or all selection in result list. (Selected objects will select on AutoCAD also.)

    A.1.3. TextBox for replacing text: To replace result text to inserted text and show on result list. Replaced text is marked in blue.

    A.1.4. Button for single replacing: To replace result texts sequentially. At the same time, the selected object's text will change.

    A.1.5. Button for all replacing: To replace all text of result list. (Caution: It works on the activated drawing only.)

    A.1.6. ComboBox for searching filter: To assign filters for searching and replacing on drawing.

    A.1.6.1. Selection: To search text in selected objects.

    A.1.6.2. Current Document: To search text in all objects of the current document.

    A.1.6.3. All Document: To search text in all objects of every opened drawing on AutoCAD.

    A.1.7. Button for select objects: To search text in selected objects. At this time, searching filter will change to selection. 

            If TextBox for searching text or TextBox for replacing text has its own value, then the result list will show its result immediately.

    A.1.8. Button for option dialog: To set various options for searching text.

    A.1.9. Button for text replacing management dialog: To serve methods for searching and replacing text where it is not contained in opened drawings on AutoCAD.

    A.2. Result panel

    A.2.1. Control for result list: To show result list for searching or replacing. To describe and separate searching and replacing texts.

    A.2.2. Zoom and Show up box: When you double-click an item in the result list, zoom in on a selected object and show its area with box.

    A.2.3. Delete item: To delete selected item in result list, when 'DELETE' key pressed.

    A.2.4. CheckBox: When item in result list is checked, selected object will zoom and replace. Otherwise, return to before check.

    A.2.5. Item image: To show next item's images separately. 'TEXT', 'MTEXT', 'ATTRIBUT', 'ATTDEF', 'DIM', 'LEADER', 'MLEADER', and 'TABLE'.

B. Batch text replacement dialog (command: DF_MRS)

Batch text replacement manager is working as modeless dialog and serves methods for unopened drawings on AutoCAD. You must confirm before use, because batch replacement depends on options.

  B.1. Replace string

    B.1.1. Batch file check box: To make batch changes to external files. Please read sample.txt for batch file's format.

    B.1.2. Select file...: To select a batch file.

    B.1.3. Find string: To insert text to search in drawings. (When batch file check box is unchecked, this button will activate.)

    B.1.4. Replace string: To replace text which is searched. (When batch file check box is unchecked, this button will activate.)

  B.2. DWG Files

    B.2.1. Select Folder...: To append '.dwg'drawings from selected directory to list.

    B.2.2. Append DWG...: To append selected '.dwg' drawing to list.

    B.2.3. Select All: To change all items in list to selected.

    B.2.4. Unselect All: To change all items in list to unselected.

    B.2.5. Select Remove: To remove selected items in list.

    B.2.6. Replace All: To replace all text at selected drawing items in list.

    B.2.7. Replace Stop: To stop 'replace all' method forcibly.

    B.2.8. Report...: To show result of 'replace all; method.

    B.2.9. Dwg Backup CheckBox: To save backup file before start replace. (Saving '.bak' file in same directory).

    B.2.10. Make as xref merge file CheckBox: To collect and show all drawings as one drawing after done replace all.

    B.2.11. Column input box: To set count of xref on axis x.

    B.2.12. X-Direction offset input box: To set offset among xrefs on axis x.

    B.2.13. Y-Direction offset input box: To set offset among xrefs on axis y.

    B.2.14. Close: To close manager.

  C.1. Find Options

    C.1.1. Use regex: To search text using standard expression. (reference: http://www.regexper.com/)

    C.1.2. Match case: To search using case sensitivity.

    C.1.3. Find Blocks: To search text object in block.

    C.1.4. Use wildcards: To search text using asterisk symbols.

    C.1.5. Find xrefs: To search text in external reference drawing.

    C.1.6. Whole words only: To search exactly same text with searching text.

    C.1.7. Ignore hidden entity: To search text without hidden entity, frozen layer, and locked layer.

    C.1.8. Rtf format: To search text's RTF format. 

    C.1.9. User marker : Whether the mark of search result is displayed.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
