Hi There, best program ever, but it does not seem to work if there are multiple assemblies in a single drawing. Is this right?

Hello, when I use this plug-in, sometimes it does not show the picture preview, sometimes it does, I am not sure what is wrong with it, and can you ask it to show the part code instead of the part name?

The 2024 has passed Symetri's Q&A process. Autodesk are having trouble building a version for the App store. Temperarily the 2024 version is available from the Sovelia (Symetri Technology) website. You will need to create a user account to access the app for free. search https://sovelia.com/resources/product-downloads

Should be standard feature in inventor, I'd pay for a 2024 release to support the independant dev! (but should be free if autodesk ever incorporates it!)

Thanks team for 2024 version, it was queit handy, but now i updated 2025 version, will it work on Inventor 2025.

Thank you for the App .. This is quite useful since extracting views for each and every part is quite difficult to open each and every part. Would it be possible to include Item number in the display then it will be quite helpful, i believe... Thank you Again.

Very good and stable plugin. 
Small suggestion for improvement: Place the views offset to each other instead of stacking them. So it's easier to place lots of views in order of part number.

I used it a lot of time, but one day it was not working anymore. Im working with windows 10 and I don't know what should be the problem. I open it but no shows nothing. I see the ikon just in the botton bar.

Unfortunately this addon does not load in Inventor Pro 2021.1.2. When I start a drawing the status line displays loading Quick Views, but it is not available on the ribbon...

At the Addin Manager it is marked as loaded though...

Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

When I click on update, it shows only this webpage and it says that 1.0.12 is last version. When I click - "Add-Ins" ... "load automatically" is turned on... during program opening it stuck on "loading quickviews" and after 1-2 minutes it ends and result is that it is just UNLOADED... so I cant see button in "place views"... thank you

I saw this previewed on TFI about 2 years ago and have just downloaded the update for 2021. What a fantastic free app, unbelievable. So simple and yet so good. Great work guys, love it!

UPDATE; Will we be getting a 2022 update? I contacted technical help who told me that they would get back to me. However, no reply. I really miss this add on in my workflow.

We use it daily for fbarication drawings. It really speeds the detailing process up. 

When will the 2021 verion be available?

I have just started using this add-in, but can see already that it is going to save me a lot of time on fabrication drawings.  It makes it very quick to place views of parts from an assembly.

We do not typically use multisheet drawings, so I don't have a need for (and therefore haven't tried) the parts list sheet number listing.  I am just using the view placing functionality.

I have run into one minor issue, which is very annoying for my intended purpose.  Typically I will be using this to place the views of plates and other members for welded structures.  Not all of these parts need to be detailed (for example, a simple rectangular plate), because they are fully described in the parts list.  The preview thumbnail in the QuickViews dialog box would typically be all I need to recognize which parts need a view and which ones don't.

However, the preview images often fail to load for me.  Switching back and forth between different selected parts will eventually cause it to load.  This is annoying, but it still gets the job done faster than my previous method of individually opening up each part file to check it for the need to detail and then placing the view if required.

Love this app.  It is missing a key item i believe. When selecting the subcomponents, i wish there was a way to see what Item number the component is. To go even further, it would be nice to be able to add additional columns to sort by in the part selection screen.  In a large assembly, it can be confusing what items you want views of and which you do not.

This add-in is brilliant.  One thing that would make it earier to use is the ability to hide content center parts from the list.

but the program will not activate the dialog while we are in a .DWG file or an .IDW file.  The help dialog will appear, but the Quickviews dialog never appears.

I very much would like an option there you can make the view from the .iam file with only the selected structure visible. This way the drawing keeps refering to only one model file.

Good app for placing detail views on the idw. Keeps from having to browse and find the file. I would like to be able to customize the columns rather than just being stuck with the "Description" column. Nice that it shows which sheet has the detail view.

I can't seem to get it to load. When I am in a dwg (idw) it doesn't load. I go to addins and manually select "loaded" and all looks fine until I exit out. Nothing happens. I go back and it's in "unloaded" status. V1.08 on IV2017 Pro. Win 10 creators x64.

I have pushed clients to use this app in the past and they have loved it. However, one of them has moved to the 2017 version of Inventor and it is not supported for 2017. Are you going to be releasing a new version?

Pretty good software that help a lot escpecially with multiple pages drawings. I have a strange behavior, we use "details level" (don't know if in english that's the term) to have light models and we use this too for the drawing views (to hide a door for example). With these details level I have "file missing" problem in the list and even sometimes nothing happen when I try to start the quickviews management.

Very useful for multiple sheets of sheet metal details, but would be even better if I had the ability to see part numbers and filter out purchased components & hardware. Maybe in a paid version?

I can't live without this app :) When can I get the 2016 version ?

This app saves me A LOT of time when creating fabrication drawings. It allows me to review that all parts of the assembly have been included in the drawing and also lets me quickly find the part in the document. A million thanks to the developers.

Thank you. One of the best apps to date. I don't do multisheet drawings, but I use it to ensure that every component has been detailed. No more Snipping tool and highlighter of the BOM.

I cant get it to load in 2013. uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing. i can check "load" and close but it wont take... any ideas.. seems like it would help a lot.

After installing the app, Inventor crached after 2 minutes. Don't know the reason, But Uninstalled it and now everything is fine. Hope there will be a fix soon, developpers can contact me for more information ! goodluck

This is the best app i downloaded so far, maybe its just me but this function has been missing since I started to work with Inventor. To create multisheet drawings is so much easier and faster then before, thank you!
