The app will filter out line entities from a selection set and will ignore other shapes and drawing entities.

There are 2 commands:

PEN9_LINE_TOTALS_QUICK

• Invoking this command will prompt the user to select line(s)
• Select the lines. When the selection set is complete, press Enter
• An alert dialog box will display the total number of lines selected and the total combined length of all selected lines

PEN9_LINE_TOTALS_REPORT

• Invoking this command will prompt the user to select line(s)
• Select the lines. When the selection set is complete, press Enter
• A new Microsoft Excel file will be created with each line from the selection set listed with its start point and length
• The total number of lines selected and the total combined length are also included in the Excel file

Note, if the Excel report option is used, the app will open a new Excel workbook with the report data. This Excel workbook can then be saved to desired location.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
