How it Works

Safety and visibility have never been more important with increasing project complexity. The Autodesk Construction Cloud® (ACC) integration with HammerTech brings safety into the office and governance to the field for more compliant, effective and safe projects.  

 

Integration Points

Subcontractors: Once created in Autodesk®, subcontractor profiles sync to HammerTech. A bi-directional option is available so that subcontractors added to HammerTech can also be associated with the Project if a matching subcontractor profile already exists in Autodesk.

Project Information: Projects created in Autodesk are automatically created in HammerTech. Rest assured you're tracking project data consistently across systems with sync of start/end dates, project value, project identification number and more.

 

For existing HammerTech and Autodesk customers, this app is built for company system owners to connect the two systems. If you are not an authorized system admin for HammerTech or Autodesk systems, please reach out to the system manager within your company first.

 

For Autodesk or HammerTech system managers, request the integration set-up by providing your Autodesk Account ID to your HammerTech Customer Success representative and specify which data (Project and or Subcontractor information) you to share from Autodesk to HammerTech. Your HammerTech customer success representative will set up the integration for you.

Authentication: 

  1. Authentication Method: This app uses 3-legged Authentication for accessing ACC Accounts and projects
  2. Storage of Credentials: The client ID and secrets necessary for authentication are securely stored within the HammerTech system.
  3. Security Measures: The secret remains undisclosed to the clients for security reasons.
  4. Authentication Token Generation: To initiate a two-legged authentication process, the user must provide an account ID and generate an authentication token.
  5. Token Storage: Once generated, the authentication token is securely stored within the HammerTech system, ready for API requests.
