JTB License Borrowed Dialog Closer
Digitally signed app
설명
Do you use a borrowed network license and want to prevent the "License Borrowed" message from showing up every single time you start Autodesk® AutoCAD®?
[The license on this machine has been borrowed from a license server. You can continue to use this product during the borrow period without a connection to the license server. The borrow period for this license expires on: … To access the product again after the license expires, you must reconnect to a license server.]
With this freeware for Autodesk® AutoCAD® and verticals it is possible. It will automatically close this dialog box for you.
Tip: It is possible to get it started together with AutoCAD if you create a BAT, CMD or VBS file and use calls like this:
start "" "%appdata%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\JTBW-CloseLicenseBorrowedDialogs.bundle\Contents\Windows\2013\CloseLicenseBorrowedDialogs.exe"
start "" "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\acad.exe" /p MyProfile

Works great on Win7 when adding the script calls to a batch file and replacing the target line in the shortcut. But, on Win10 it counts up to 12 closed dialogs but never closes the Borrow dialog. Please advise.
Hi Brett, you can contact me at info@jtbworld.com and I will investigate this further. I need to know what AutoCAD version you have and a screenshot of the borrow dialog box that is not closed.
Is there one available for Navisworks or will this also work with Navisworks?
Hi Frederick, There is no Navisworks support but if you can email me a screenshot of the dialog box I can see what can be done.
I would update the help document and point to the convoluted plugin path embedded in 2013\ folder in my install %appdata%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\JTBW-CloseLicenseBorrowedDialogs.bundle\Contents\Windows\2013\CloseLicenseBorrowedDialogs.exe It can be copied to another dir, but took me a while to find the item. Maybe ask for install startmenu shortcut. Also in my install the Taskbar shows a generic APP ICON and not a custom one. The file contains no Icons. maybe nice to have an icon , JTB as a resource embedded in the EXE.
Hi Nauman, Thanks for your feedback. I will take care of most of it. The installer is a generic installer by Autodesk so there's no option to add it to the startmenu but I might find another way.
This must look for processes/windows named license borrow or something. Edit: Thanks dev.
Looks like there is room for improvement. It looks for windows containing "License Borrowed" in the title and closes it. I will find a way to limit this to the expected dialog box only.
