Bird Tools - CAD Block Remapper
Win32 および 64, 日本語一般的な使用手順
Once the app is installed, the tool can be accessed through the push button under the Bird Tools Ribbon Tab inside Revit. Note that the user does not need to access the Autodesk® AutoCAD® part of the app unless the connection between AutoCAD and Revit is broken, which may happen only 0.1% of the time. The only push button that the user needs to press in normal circumstances is the Revit one.
The tool then asks the user to pick a CAD Link that the user has already linked within his/her Revit model. If the Link is not already opened, the tool will open this link in AutoCAD and automatically extract the block locations. Starting with v2.0 and Revit 2025, the command can also be accessed by "right-clicking" that CAD link.
Then, the remapping form is shown, where the user can specify whether the elements are ceiling hosted, wall hosted, or just level-based, and map each AutoCAD block to its Revit family. The user can also specify a vertical offset.
Once the user presses "OK", the Revit families will be placed automatically, and if they are hosted, automatically be hosted on the nearest ceiling and wall.
